Genetic Counseling and Testing
Genetic counseling is available through the Hereditary Cancer Clinic, under the direction of Dr. Kelly Marcom. A team of genetic counselors are available to meet with patients to review personal and family history of cancer, risk factors, and review options for genetic testing for hereditary cancer syndromes.
Some insurance companies will pay for genetic testing. We work closely with the genetic counselors, and can help answer your questions about whether genetic testing may be appropriate for you.
