Faces of Hope | Ellen L. Ozier, Photographer

Ellen L. Ozier, Photographer

My name is Ellen Ozier. I am the photographer who has had the opportunity and privilege of meeting all of these wonderful people. I have learned so much from all of them and in many ways, they have changed my life forever.

These individuals have found the courage, strength and inner beauty to fight brain tumors. To me, all of these people represent HOPE.

HOPE to me is looking into the eyes of these individuals, realizing that each day is a blessing. We should all strive to go out into the world every day with such grace, such appreciation, such acceptance. Each and every day is a gift. Every day gives us the opportunity to learn, to grow, to accomplish, to succeed, to fail, to dream. Every day that passes means we are one day closer to fighting more brain tumors, to helping people not only survive, but also to live their dreams.

Let us all learn from these individuals, the patients and the caretakers, who shine a bright light for all of us to follow. I think it is in how we deal with life’s greatest and most difficult moments that determines our true success as human beings.

You all are truly inspirational and we can learn from all of you. You offer HOPE to so many people every day. Thank you all for sharing.
