Dr. Peters has a background in both neurology and cancer biology, that lends itself perfectly to the field of neuro-oncology. She finished her residency in neurology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, along with a fellowship in cognitive neurosciences. With this experience, she is interested in the cognitive complications of brain cancer and other systemic cancer.
