Directions to the McGovern-Davison Children's Health Center at Duke
By Air:
The nearest airport to The Brain Tumor Center at Duke is Raleigh-Durham International (RDU). It is served by most major airlines. From RDU Airport, take I-40 West approximately 4 miles to Exit 279B - Hwy 147 North (the Durham Freeway). Take Exit 15A - Trent Drive/Elba Street. Turn left and proceed to Erwin Road (about 1 block). Turn right onto Erwin Road and proceed to the patient drop-off circle in front of the hospital on the left at the junction of Erwin Road and Fulton Street. (see map 1 and map 2)
By Car, from Greensboro and Points West:
Take I-40 East to I-85 North. Continue on I-85 North for about 9 miles to exit 172 (NC-147 South toward Downtown/Durham/Research Triangle Park). Take Exit 15B - Fulton Street/Hillandale Road and turn right onto Fulton Street. Continue straight to the patient drop-off circle in front of the hospital at the junction of Fulton Street and Erwin Road.
By Car, from Chapel Hill and I-40 East:
Take 15-501 North (do not exit onto 15-501 Business) to Exit 104 - NC 751. Turn right onto 751. Take the first left onto Erwin Road. Continue on Erwin Road to the patient drop-off circle in front of the hospital on the right at the junction with Fulton Street.
By Car, from Points East:
Take I-40 West to Exit 279B - Hwy 147 North (the Durham Freeway). Take Exit 15A - Trent Drive/Elba Street and stay to the left to Erwin Road. Turn right onto Erwin Road and proceed to the patient drop-off circle in front of the hospital on the left at the junction of Erwin Road and Fulton Street.
By Car, from Points North:
Take I-85 South to Exit 174 - Hillandale Road. Turn left onto Hillandale Road. At the 4th stoplight, Hillandale Road becomes Fulton Street. Proceed straight on Fulton Street to the patient drop-off circle in front of the hospital at the junction of Fulton Street and Erwin Road.
By Car, from Points South:
Take I-85 North to exit 172 (NC-147 South toward Downtown/Durham/ Research Triangle Park). Take Exit 15B - Fulton Street/ Hillandale Road and turn right onto Fulton Street. Continue straight to the patient drop-off circle in front of the hospital at the junction of Fulton Street and Erwin Road.
Take I-95 North to I-40 West via exit number 81 toward Raleigh. Take I-40 West to Exit 279B - Hwy 147 North (the Durham Freeway). Take Exit 15A - Trent Drive/Elba Street and stay to the left to Erwin Road. Turn right onto Erwin Road and proceed to the patient drop-off circle in front of the hospital on the left at the junction of Erwin Road and Fulton Street.
