To discover how people can live well in spite of a brain tumor in themselves or someone they love

Our aggressive approach to research and deep concern for our patients means our research is not limited to stopping the tumor. Estimates are that there are now more that 200,000 survivors of brain tumors in the United States. So here, we work equally hard to understand the potential impact of therapies both during treatment and over the long-term.

In the Tug McGraw Research Center, we are testing agents that show promise in improving cognition and in lessening side effects of treatment. We are comparing exercise regimens and complementary / alternative therapies that may improve mood, lessen fatigue, contribute to overall wellbeing, perhaps even extend length of life.

We are also studying the needs of caregivers and exploring better ways to meet the needs of those significant people who are also impacted when someone they love has a brain tumor.

We'll explore every therapeutic possibility to give our patients the best chance.
