DNA Analysis Facility - Phosphorimaging/Fluorescent Scanning

The Phosphorimager Facility provides phosphorimaging and fluorescent scanning services for the Duke University scientific community.

The GE Biosciences Typhoon 9410 scanner is able to analyze both DNA and protein samples from blots and gels using:

• Storage phosphor autoradiography
• Direct fluorescence scanning (excitation Λ’s = green 532nm, red 633nm, and blue 457/488nm)
• Chemiluminescence detection
