Third International Symposium on Focal Therapy and Imaging of Prostate and Kidney Cancer

Abstracts/Posters

Abstracts are solicited for presentation in the Moderated Poster Session on Wednesday, February 24.  Two four-hour sessions covering topics in prostate and kidney cancer will be conducted concurrently from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.  Abstracts should be submitted via the Symposium's on-line registration system.  Electronic submissions only will be accepted, no paper or mailed submissions.  Only registered participants may submit an abstract.  Deadline for receipt of abstracts for consideration in the moderated sessions is January 8, 2010.  Notification of abstracts accepted for presentation will be made by January 15.  Abstracts will be accepted up to February 5 for general poster display but will not be considered for the moderated sessions.

Abstract Specifications: 
All submitted abstracts must be typewritten.  Abstract length should be no more than one (1) single-spaced page.  Minimum margins: 1/2" all sides.  Minimum font size: 10 pt. Abstracts should include (a) the title, (b) names and affiliations of all authors (First Initial, Last Name), (c) full name, email address and telephone number of the corresponding author. The use of photos, diagrams and drawings are discouraged as these will not reproduce well in the Symposium Program Book.

Poster Specifications:
The size of the poster should not exceed 4 feet  x 4 feet (1.22 meters x 1.22 meters).  Posters should be prepared unmounted.  Poster pins and display boards will be available on-site.  Only posters submitted and acknowledged prior to the Symposium will be displayed.  Acknowledgements and space assignments will be sent via email by February 12.  Contact the Symposium Coordinator if you do not receive an acknowledgement.
