Office Assistants Faculty/Staff The office assistants provide the office with support throughout the day. They transport materials to our clinic and to Duke North Hospital, perform various jobs in the office, and assist with rides throughout the Medical Center campus for patients and families who are here for work-up and/or follow-up. The office assistants also provide one on one office assistance to the Program attending physicians and nurse practitioners by copying, typing, filing and performing literature searches at the Medical Center library. The office assistants also help the Stem Cell Lab by transporting blood products and samples to and from the North Pavilion location, as well as delivering transplants and reinfusions to patients on the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit.
