Nurse Coordinators
Faculty/Staff
June, Jayne, and Carmen consult with attending physicians to coordinate
evaluation of new patients pre-transplant. They serve as the main contact to
patients and families during evaluation week and serve as educators and
resource contacts throughout the transplant process.

June Allison
Senior Nurse Coordinator. Certified
Pediatric Oncology Nurse and a member of Association of Pediatric
Oncology Nursing, both locally and nationally. June has functioned in
the role of Nurse Coordinator since 1996, after having worked as a staff
nurse on the transplant unit for 4 years prior. Coordinating the
evaluation and educating metabolic patients (Krabbe, Hurler's, and
Sanfilippo) is an area of special interest.

Jayne Cash
Certified Pediatric Oncology
Nurse and a member of both local and national Association of Pediatric
Oncology Nursing. She has 18 years pediatric oncology nursing
experience. She has 5 years experience in pediatric bone marrow
transplant at Duke as a clinic nurse, joining the PBMT as Nurse
Coordinator in April, 2001. Her areas of interest are blood disorders
and metabolic diseases.
