The Brain Tumor Learning Center is a unique resource room for patients, family members, and friends. Here you will find hands-on resources for both children and adults that teach about brain tumors, treatments, and coping with serious illness, including:

  • Models of the brain and spine
  • Models that show central lines, an MRI and CT scanner
  • Computers with internet access and a variety of software programs
  • Microscope station
  • Medical play area for children
  • Books
  • Videotapes
  • Audiotapes
  • Brochures, pamphlets and booklets
  • Children's activity room for scheduled educational sessions

You may use the resources on your own or schedule a meeting with a Brain Tumor Center staff person to learn about the resources available in the Learning Center.
